This project was for Delphi, who produce resources to teach mechanics how to work with new vehicle technology.
I was given a shiny new engine to mount on a stand, which was a really nice geometric puzzle.
A series of laser cut brackets were produced to interface with the engine, and a frame then fabricated to hold the brackets in the correct locations.
Phase two involved plumbing the fuel rail into a hydrogen / nitrogen cylinder, and including various connection / purge points for the training demonstrations.
There were also some heavily modified attachments added to the engine's turbocharger, which were fun to work out.
