Mechanical zooming glasses

These were made at the request of Turner Prize winning artist Martin Creed, via Studio Makecreate.

He wanted a pair of glasses that could appear to "zoom in" when a hidden plunger was pressed.

This image shows a component being drilled with my Meddings high speed drill, which used to belong to engineering legend Rex Garrod.
