Phone folding / spinning rig

I used to work for Machine Shop Special Effects, which was a cool place to work.

A few years later I went back and made this little project for them - a motorised rig to move a new folding phone.

Two follow focus units were built in, so that the phone could be manipulated accurately by the motion control guys.

I received the phonecall on the Sunday night, and the rig was built and filmed by Wednesday.
